How long will a car battery last?

Car batteries are designed to last between 3 and 5 years and can range from 20,000 to 50,000 engine start-ups.

All of our batteries come with a 3, 4 or 5-year guarantee, so in the unlikely case your battery fails, we'll replace it for free (subject to warranty T&Cs).

Routine maintenance can extend the life of your battery and keep it performing well for longer. A smart charger is the best way to save money and avoid expensive repairs or the need for a new battery sooner since it can protect and even repair your battery while it charges.
