What you need to know about your Halfords car service

If you looking into getting your vehicle serviced and have some questions such as how long it will take or which service do I need? Have a look at our helpful FAQ's.

How long will my vehicle service take?

Most services will take a few hours, but it depends on the service package you select. We don’t offer service slots, instead, you’ll need to leave your vehicle at the Halfords Autocentre at either 8:30am or 11:30am on the day of your service. We'll call you when your car is ready to collect.

Can I book a service and MOT together?

Yes! Our combined MOT and service packages are a convenient way to keep your car running smoothly. You’ll also save up to £24.99 when you book an MOT and service together. You can check out our range of MOT and service packages and book online.

Why MOT and service together?

Booking an MOT and service together makes it much less likely that you’ll forget either of them. We’ll carry out your MOT and service during the same appointment, which means you’ll only have to make one trip, not two. You’ll also save up to £24.99 when you book an MOT and service together.

I have a service/MOT booked - can I leave my car in the car park the day before?

We don’t own the car parks and therefore have no control over the security or any parking restrictions, so if you leave your car at a garage, it’s at your own risk.
