Does a Halfords | MotorEasy car warranty cover consequential damage?
Unlike some warranties, a Halfords | Motoreasy policy will cover you for consequential damage, when a non-covered part causes damage to a covered part.
This is not the case with all warranty providers. For example, if your engine blows because a failed serviceable part (like an alternator belt) gets tangled with a cambelt, some providers will refuse to pay out.
You should beware of any provider that includes clauses within their terms and conditions to exclude any claims resulting from consequential damage.
