Bike XChange - buy a second-hand e-scooter

The grading rating list and the criteria for each grade are shown below. These ratings aren’t definitive, so we’d always recommend that you inspect your e-scooter when you collect it to make sure that you’re happy with the condition before you complete your purchase.

All of our second-hand e-scooters are safety checked by one of our expert e-scooter technicians before being fully restored and repaired to ensure they’re safe to ride away on the same day you collect.

They check the wheels, deck, handlebars, motor, controller, display, charger, and battery and ensure there is no water damage, structural damage, modifications or any dampening of the battery compartment. 

All of our second-hand e-scooters come with a 12-month guarantee (from the date of purchase) and we’ll repair any manufacturing defects for free within that period. The only areas not covered by the guarantee are general wear and tear, and where components fail due to misuse, a lack of servicing and/or a lack of care.

If you change your mind about your second-hand e-scooter purchase, you have the right to return that bike to the store from which you bought it within 14 days for a full refund. Proof of purchase is required.
