How do I register my bike lock?
If you have bought a Halfords or BikeHut bike lock from us, you can register it so that we can help you out if you ever lose your key or forget your combination code.
Key Locks
Register your key using the code that came with it, and we'll store it alongside your details. If you ever lose your key, go through to this page to submit a replacement request, and we'll get a new key out to you within 30 days.
Combination Locks
Once you've decided on your combination code, register it with us and we'll store it in our database. If you ever forget your code, go through to this page to submit a reminder request, and we'll email you a reminder of your code.
Terms and Conditions
- You must register online to be eligible for a replacement key
- Personal details will be held in accordance with GDPR and Halfords Privacy Policy requirements
- A claim can only be made by registering your details and key code here
- A representative from Halfords will receive your request and may get in contact for further information
- Replacement keys may take up to 30 working days to arrive from submission of a request, but during busy periods, this may be slightly longer
- Halfords accepts no liability for lost or delayed replacement keys.

- By registering for our key replacement service, you are also agreeing that Halfords can contact you about the other great offers and services we have to offer. If you would prefer not to receive these emails, you can opt out at any point of registration.
- Proof of purchase will be required. The claimant must be the owner of the bike lock. Halfords accepts no liability if it is later found the request was submitted by a non-owner.
